Alligator vs. Python: Whoever Wins, We Lose
But no need to worry, cause they both lost. The remains were found in Florida’s Everglades National Park. The python swallowed the alligator, but then its stomach burst, probably as a result of the alligator’s claws during the struggle. But the dramatic, and slightly disturbing part of me wants to think that the alligator was still alive in the stomach, and, heroically using it’s last bit of life, managed to break free, killing the python and itself.
According to park rangers, the Burmese python (which is not native to Florida, if you couldn’t tell by its name) could now be challenging the alligator’s position as top predator in the area.
I’m waiting for Polar Bear vs. Siberian Tiger – that should be a good one.
